We believe in the power of educating women and girls by providing cash education awards to help self-identified women obtain skills-training and education necessary to improve their employment and career prospects, leading to financial stability.

STELLA’S LUNCHES
Held 4 times per year, Stella’s Lunches reduce senior isolation while providing a healthy meal, companionship, and entertainment. The event raises awareness about food insecurity and is one way
to help seniors move out of poverty.

SISTERS PRESERVES
SIsters Preserves is an innovative approach to food security, by converting rescued food into canned products, including preserves and pickles, which are then sold by donation and profits are returned to the community through Soroptimist Victoria Westshore’s programs and services.

IMPROVING FOOD SECURITY
FOOD BOXES - FEEDING FAMILIES
Community food boxes are assembled for more than 35 families and seniors each month. Individuals who do not have the means to attend Food Banks during regular hours. or seniors with mobility issues.
Food Boxes contain rescued fresh and frozen food, and we purchase additional proteins, toiletries and school snacks.
